Malheight Logistics

Terms of service

What to expect when you book a delivery with us, and what we need from you to deliver it.

Effective date:

1. Who these terms cover

These terms apply when you use the Malheight Logistics website, create an account or book a delivery, including bookings made for a business. You must be at least 18 and authorised to act for any business or person you represent.

Contact Malheight Logistics at [email protected], or write to 24 Seriki Aro Street, Ikeja, Lagos, Nigeria.

2. Bookings and service area

Online bookings currently cover deliveries within Lagos. Other services require a separate quote and confirmation. Give accurate sender and recipient details, addresses, parcel contents, weight and any declared value. A waybill identifies one parcel; a business pickup may include several waybills.

A booking receipt or waybill is not confirmation that payment has cleared or that collection has taken place. Follow the confirmation and payment instructions shown for your booking. Keep your waybill and payment reference.

3. Packaging and prohibited items

Pack and seal parcels securely for handling and road transport. Tell us before booking about fragile, perishable, unusually valuable or restricted goods so we can confirm whether we can carry them.

Do not send illegal goods, weapons, explosives, flammable or hazardous substances, or anything prohibited by applicable law. Do not misdescribe or conceal parcel contents. We may refuse goods that are unsafe, unlawful or unsuitable for the agreed service.

Providing a declared value does not by itself purchase insurance or create an agreed compensation amount. Contact us before sending goods that need special cover.

4. Prices and payments

We show delivery charges in Nigerian naira before you confirm. If the price changes before booking, you must review the updated amount. Any additional service or charge must be explained and agreed before it is supplied.

Online payments are processed through Paystack and confirmed after verification. Pay on delivery is available only where offered, with the payer selected at booking. Pay on delivery is cashless: pay Malheight through the Paystack link or transfer details provided for that payment before the parcel is released. Never share your card PIN, banking password or one-time password with a rider or member of staff.

For online prepaid bookings, pay within the displayed reservation period to keep your pickup slot. Unpaid bookings may expire. A late payment may need staff review and a new slot or refund.

5. Collection and delivery

Have the parcel ready during the confirmed pickup window and make sure the recipient can be contacted and can receive it. Standard delivery is scheduled for the next business day after collection, subject to the date confirmed for your booking. Express, when offered, is scheduled for collection and delivery on the same business day, subject to availability and the displayed cut-off. Business days exclude weekends and announced closures.

Traffic, weather, access restrictions, incorrect details or an unavailable recipient can delay delivery. Contact us if the stated delivery date is missed. A failed attempt may require a new delivery arrangement or return to the sender; we will explain any proposed charge before you agree.

We record handovers and delivery evidence, including the receiving person's name and relationship to the recipient. Keep tracking and payment links private.

6. Cancellations and refunds

Contact us with your waybill to request cancellation before collection. A parcel cannot be cancelled after collection; contact us to discuss a return instead.

If you paid twice, paid for a cancelled booking or paid for a service we cannot provide, contact us with the payment reference. We will check the transaction, explain any amount due back and arrange the applicable refund. Refund timing depends on the payment provider and your bank; we will communicate the expected timing when the refund is arranged.

These terms do not remove any refund or other remedy you have under Nigerian consumer law.

7. Loss, damage and complaints

Report a missing, damaged or incorrectly delivered parcel as soon as you discover the issue. Send the waybill, a description of the problem and any relevant photographs, packaging or proof of value. Keep the packaging where possible so the issue can be investigated.

We will investigate the delivery records and discuss the appropriate resolution with you. These terms do not impose a fixed compensation cap or exclude liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including your statutory consumer rights.

Contact Malheight Logistics at [email protected], or write to 24 Seriki Aro Street, Ikeja, Lagos, Nigeria.

8. Accounts and acceptable use

Keep your sign-in details secure and tell us if you suspect unauthorised use. Business account owners and managers are responsible for granting appropriate team access. Do not access another person's records, misuse tracking links, submit fraudulent bookings or disrupt the service.

We may restrict access to investigate fraud or protect the service. This does not remove our responsibilities for existing deliveries, payments or your legal rights.

9. Applicable law and changes

Nigerian law applies. You may use the courts and complaint channels available under applicable law. Contact us first if you would like us to help resolve a dispute.

We may update these terms and publish a new effective date. The terms in force when you book apply to that booking unless a change is required by law or agreed with you. Our Privacy notice explains how we process personal data.
